bcr steps
![]()
bcr steps is a step sequencer and arpeggiator made for the Behringer BCR2000 controller. It can also be used on its own, or with almost any other MIDI controller. If you like, you can try out the applet version, though it won’t give you the full MIDI capabilities of the standalone application.

Hi there.
Have you downloaded the file bcr-steps.jar? You should be able to launch it easily from a terminal window (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal) with this command:
java -jar bcr-steps.jar
If that doesn’t work then please let me know what error messages you are getting.
If you want to access midi devices you will need to download and install something like the Plumstone MIDI SPI, this is due to some strange restriction in Mac OS X.
