Enord//Flux
![]()
Enord///Flux creates unpleasant noises and textures by multiplying signals against sine wave oscillators, and thanks to sloppy coding it also tends to rather nastily overdrive everything. This patch is a cleaned up and streamlined version of the core functionality of patches I used extensively on 102×04: As Drifting of Night into Morning, (often in a triangular configuration called DroneTrio.) and I turn to it quite frequently when preparing sound material for use in new recordings and performances. The version I am currently building in PD processes real-time audio input rather than requiring the user to load an audio file, and also has a slider controlling the fx’s depth (as it stands, it’s 100% fx, no clean signal.) These two changes will significantly improve it’s general applicability. Not that I’m trying to disuade you from trying it out now, go ahead and enjoy! It’s already in use by Thirdorgan and Ken Timber, don’t get left behind!
basically, load a file and tweak the parameters. it makes sound, which you may or may not enjoy. don’t forget to turn on the audio processing by clicking the speaker button.
