Pacemaker editor

Pacemaker is all about creating mixes as well as being a state-of-the-art music player and a music library managing application.
- - Create and save your own mixes
- - Transfer music and mixes to the device
- - Import and organize your music
- - Upload your mixes to Pacemaker.net community
Pacemaker Editor enables limitless creative possibilities via an intuitive interface tailor-made for desktop mix production. This is all drag-and-drop, pull, stretch, bend and move around. In essence, it’s about adding your personal preferred colouring to a selection of tracks (sort of, conducting your own orchestra with a couple of spray cans in each hand).
One of our interface innovations is that of controlling the two channels via the same window, simply by grabbing, sliding and overlapping the tracks. The approach is simply to view the mix as a linear sequence, to which you add whatever colours (tools, parameters, truncations and layerings) you like. All colouring tools are of course applicable to all tracks anywhere, and are open for adjustments and trimmings at will.
Another nice aspect is the non-destructive liquid audio editing functionality, or; everything happens and sounds instantaneously – where adjustment of parameters, filters, audio effects, EQ, BPM and loops are rendered in real time.
What we hope to have achieved, is an inspirational and user-friendly mixing tool with nice game play and challenging possibilities.
All mixes created on any of the two are transferable to the other, and vice versa – meaning that you can bring any mix anywhere, and continue mixing, adjusting and refining as you like. The final step is then to upload your mix to the Pacemaker.net web community, and let the rest of the world be inspired by your mixes and your taste in music – and, of course, find inspiration yourself.
The creative tools for the Editor are fully compatible with those of Pacemaker Device.
• Beat detection and pitch/BPM trimming
• Crossfade – cross fade transition and beat match
• Loop – duration and number of repetitions
• Audio effects and filters – Hi-cut/Lo-cut, Roll, Echo, Reverb
• EQ – 3-band; Hi, Mid, Lo: – infinity to + 9 dB
• Reverse play
• Gain and master volume
We will continuously offer free software upgrades, bug fixes and new features for the Editor and device, via Pacemaker.net. Upgrades enabling the following features will be released over the next months:
